19- In Which Perversion Doesn't Occur

Kyle: [Bailey Hunt] Officer, we really, REALLY, need a place ta' set down fer the night.
Dane: [Detective Bron] Sure thing um, traveler. Well stop by your accommodations in the morning and check in on everything. Got it?
Soo: [Kali dVostog] Kali pulls her arm away from the officer wrapping her bandages and points rather angrily at Mari. "Your foolishness knows no bounds! My arm will still be here in moments but my servant is gravely injured!"
Soo: [OOC] I do my best to sound like a stuck up noblewoman while I do it.
Dane: [GM] The two officers quickly begin to wrap up the scene as the crowd begins to get bored and move away. It's far too cold to linger outdoors too long anyhow. One officer does give Mari a bit of attention but she's already stabilized and there's not much non-magical help he can render at the moment.
Joe: [OOC] Pissy communists everywhere and Dane is going out of his way to demonstrate the social inequality of the situation. Who wants to bet this nobleman we're looking for is going to be a giant prick too?
Ian: [OOC] Who?
Joe: [OOC] The nobleman who was kidnapped. The whole reason we're here.
Soo: [OOC] I kind of forgot he existed. I'm more concerned that Joe remembered.
Joe: [OOC] Hey, I do everything in my power to amuse myself, usually at the GM's expense, but I never NEVER loose track of the plot. I'm perfectly willing to storm the engine of the plot train and toss extra-combustible babies into the burner, but I NEVER seek to derail that train.
Kyle: [OOC]Does anyone have any objections to just proceeding to the inn. I'd rather we head there quickly because we probably can't afford to get attacked again.
Ian: [OOC] I have no objections, but I'm still a pile of vaguely-mage-shaped pain.
Soo: [OOC] It'd probably be suspicious for a noblewoman to lug around her lackey.
Kyle: [OOC] I'll carry Mari and we'll put (what's left of) GR-210 in my bag.
Joe: [OOC] I'm a goddamn warmachine, not some fucking chihuahua.
Kyle: [OOC] No, you're the HEAD of a warmachine and completely devoid of limbs to object with. Dane, we're moving.
Dane: [GM] The road to the Bleached Oak Inn is mercifully free of other complications and you enter the three-story building to find it wonderfully furnished inside. Game trophies decorate much of the interior and the roaring fire warms you almost immediately. A bartender is cleaning off the counter as it is late at night. A single clerk sits at the desk only looking up when she notices you came in.
Dane: [Bethany the Clerk] "Hello travelers. The constable told me you'd be coming. Wanted me to tell him if you didn't show up. I was just about to get worried!" She nods politely as an afterthought.
Kyle: [Bailey Hunt] Bailey nods back. "Is our room set up? Gotta' git this'un tah bed." He gestures with his head to Mari in his arms.
Joe: [OOC] Does your accent just disappear when you find it too hard to use? That first sentence sounds entirely different.
Kyle:  [OOC] Not sure how I'd southern-fry that one.
Dane: [Bethany the Clerk] Bethany shows you all upstairs to a third floor room with a very large stove in it. "The room has been paid for by the MacGruder company, who sincerly welcomes you to town Ma'am" she says, bowing to Kali.
Soo: [OOC] At some point that's going to get old, but not today.
Kyle: [Bailey Hunt] Bailey set's Mari down on one of the beds. "There ya go kiddo, just get some rest."
Ian: [OOC] I know I'm stabalized and not dying, but am I conscious?
Dane: [GM] Eh, at this point, yeah.
Ian: [Mari Shasho] "Th.. thanks Hunt. Always could count on you."
Joe: [OOC] And it starts being that kind of roleplay.
Kyle: [OOC] Not in a million years Joe.
Soo: [OOC] Let's not rule anything out too soon.
Kyle: [OOC] Dear god it's spreading! Soo, did you shake Joe's hand then touch your mouth? Did you drink the water at his house. DID YOU DRINK IT?!
Soo: [OOC] Joking hon, joking.
Ian: [OOC] That's what the last fourth player said at first. Month later we had to put him down out back behind the shed. His last words were 'Lol, dick joke."

    1. Actually I'm just about to kick it off again. The project was kind of the victim of grad school and a vehicle accident so it kind of fell out of my mind for a couple months. Incidentally, I apparently get an email when someone comments on a post, which reminded me about the project all together, so thanks!
