75- Ian Making Out With Batman

Dane: [Skeleton 5, in good health] The last skeleton roars in an unearthly fashion and drops down nearly to all-fours. It begins to charge up the hallway toward the group!
Kyle: [OOC] Finally, my freaking turn.
Kyle: [Bailey Hunt] Bailey whips out his pistols and shoots off a shot at the fifth skeleton as it approaches.
[Kyle] ROLLS. [GM] RECEIVES RESULTS.
Dane: [GM] Unfortunately, Bailey's shots go wide and miss the skeleton, clipping the stonework around it.
Joe: [OOC] And what a freaking turn it was.
Kyle: [OOC] SILENCE FAT-MAN.
Dane: [GM] Top of the turn order now.
Dane: [Skeleton 1, in good health] The first skeleton jumps forward towards Mari and GR-210, attempting to swat at GR from his perch on Mari.
[Dane] ROLLS. [GM] RECEIVES RESULTS.
Dane: [GM] And succeeds at doing so! It slaps the small robot off of Mari, causing it to bounce to the ground. One minor wound Joe and GR is prone.
Joe: [GR-210] GR rolls around in anger. "My fury shall be unending!"
Dane: [GM] Skeleton 2 is dead(er) so Kali is up again.
Soo: [Kali dVostog] Kali tries to fire off another shot at the skeleton that was charging up the hallway (no. 5).
[Soo] ROLLS. [GM] RECEIVES RESULTS.
Dane: [GM] While the shot is not lethal, it blasts the bone in the skeleton's upper arm, causing it to fall off and shatter. The skeleton is now disarmed as that was the arm it was holding its weapon in.
Soo: [OOC] I feel like there's a one-liner in this that I'm missing.
Joe: [OOC] Kali is so pissed about losing her arm that she psychotically de-limbs other characters to make herself feel better. It works a little but she knows she'll never be complete again.
Soo: [OOC] Hey! Stop adding depth and complexity to my character.
Joe: [GR-210] GR hops back up to his spider-leg-feet and bristles angrily.
Joe: [OOC] Gotta use the turn to get out of prone.
Dane: [Danielle] Danielle has set herself up and fires a shot from her sniper rifle down the hall. The tight quarters and load noise echo painfully as the bullet whizzes past everyone's heads and goes for the skeleton that smacked GR!
[Dane] ROLLS. [GM] RECEIVES RESULTS.
Dane: [GM] And it finds its mark! The skeleton explodes in a puff of bone shards!
Dane: [Danielle] Danielle just quietly sighs and mutters. "All is from dust and to dust all returns."
Joe: [OOC] Is it wrong to want to go make out with your own NPC.
Soo: [OOC] Yes and the only thing worse would be doing it while we all have to read it.
Joe: [OOC] Don't be silly, I wouldn't make you all read it. I would probably just make a large number of illustrations and give them to you.
Kyle: [OOC] Like that time you posted a drawing of Ian making out with Batman on the bathroom wall of the comic shop?
Ian: [OOC] I had forgotten about that, thanks for digging up a wound Kyle.
Joe: [OOC] Oh stop whining Ian, that was the best birthday you ever had.
Soo: [OOC] The degree of disgust I have for this moment has a lot to do with human decency but a lot more to do with the quality of the artwork and the narrative of it.
Ian: [OOC] Soo... Soo... not you too...
Soo: [OOC] *Ian-hug* I'm just trying to be part of the group. You think it's easy fufilling my sole duty as "person who gets disgusted by group antics"?
Joe: [OOC] Yeah Ian, we're a community, a family. You're suffering is just the glue that holds it together, like a late relatives estate money or a parent's secret marital problem.
Soo: [OOC] On second thought, I think I'll just go back to defending Ian. That side of the game seems a bit thin.
